Shanghai, China, October 19, 2021 – Welkin, a China-focused mid-market growth equity investment firm, today announced that it has appointed Kan Ye as Vice President and Head of Value Creation. Ye will lead Welkin’s value creation activities, working closely with its portfolio companies on critical business development initiatives and creating cross-pollination opportunities across the portfolio. Ye is based in Shanghai.

Ye joins Welkin from Sanyue Technology, where he most recently served as Vice President. Before that, Ye worked at Sanpower Group as group vice president and SBCVC, where he invested in growth stage companies. Ye began his career in audit and advisory at PwC. He brings experience in corporate capital planning, business development, and mergers and acquisitions.
